I am the Children’s Pastor at LaGrange Baptist Church in LaGrange, Kentucky.  My heart is to see God’s people discipled in community for the purpose of moving outward into this world as a “city on a hill.”  This life was never meant to be lived alone.  We need each other.  And so I desire for the church to embrace Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s vision of “Life Together” for the glory of God and the good of all peoples.

My wife Jaime and I have been married for 9 years.  Jaime is an amazing woman of God and I am so blessed to be her husband.  We have two precious girls named Emie (5) and Lily (3) and one little baby boy named Luke.  They are tremendous gifts to us from our gracious heavenly Father.  (Updated picture, including little Luke, is coming soon).

Doug, I went to school with you in Cedar Rapids. I was Tasha Perry then. Anyway, I am friends with Dustin and Kellie Shramek and found your blog via theirs. It is always great to see a brother in the Lord so involved in ministry. Do you ever see anyone from your LinnMar class? I had many friends that I have totally lost touch with. Anyway, I hope you are the Doug Wolter that liven in CR, Iowa!
